Mill Mountain Theatre is a professional regional theatre in downtown Roanoke, and has been a fixture of Roanoke arts and culture since its founding in 1964.  With strong partnerships and collaborations with Roanoke community organizations, and much of the $1.5 million budget spent with local businesses, MMT has been recognized by the Virginia commission for the Arts as a key component of the state's cultural life, and is in the top rank of arts organizations receiving annual operating grants.
