About the Speaker

Jeannie Keen, CMSBB, CVEPP, PMP, LCSW, is the Owner & CEO of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Roanoke & Lynchburg. For more than a decade, she and her husband and business partner, Mike Keen, have advised owners of privately held businesses on enterprise value, ownership transition, and the successful sale of their companies. Together, they have represented businesses across a wide range of industries while also acquiring, growing, and divesting companies of their own.

A passionate advocate for business continuity, Jeannie regularly speaks on building enterprise value, increasing business transferability, and navigating ownership transitions. She believes stronger, more transferable businesses create greater opportunities for owners while preserving jobs and strengthening local economies.

Jeannie holds a master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, bringing a unique perspective to the personal and financial aspects of business ownership transitions. She is also a Certified Main Street Business Broker (CMSBB), Certified Valuation and Exit Planning Professional (CVEPP), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Additionally, she is an alumna of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership, Leadership Roanoke Valley, and a member of the LEAD Virginia Class of 2026.
