The Anatomy of a Boundary: Reframe the Narrative!

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Hidden Valley Country Club
Format: Interactive Workshop + Lunch
About This Session
The Women of the Chamber Mini-Workshop Series is designed to support women leaders as they strengthen self-awareness, confidence, and sustainable leadership practices. Led by the Lucy Leadership Project, this three-part series blends reflection, dialogue, and practical tools that participants can immediately apply in their professional and personal lives
Session One introduces boundaries as powerful leadership tools—not barriers—and invites participants to rethink how values, expectations, and roles shape where boundaries are needed most.
What You’ll Learn
During this 90-minute facilitated workshop, participants will:
-
Understand the core components of a healthy boundary: values, capacity, trust, and communication
-
Reflect on where boundaries may be blurred in professional and personal leadership roles
-
Identify common patterns that lead to burnout, overextension, or resentment
-
Begin naming one boundary they are ready to examine or strengthen
What to Expect
This session is intentionally designed as a structured, interactive workshop and includes:
-
Guided individual reflection
-
Small-group dialogue to normalize shared leadership challenges
-
Practical language for recognizing and responding to boundary signals
-
Meaningful connection with other women leaders across the region
Participants will also receive a copy of
Unwrapped: The Pursuit of Justice for Women Educators, which will serve as a shared resource throughout the series
