Artist Paul Villinski will give a public lecture discussing his work. The Long Island based artist first worked with butterflies as a motif and has recently collaborated with scientists to learn about more about their biology and their fragile relationship with their natural habitat. Butterfly Machine is an indoor environment that supports butterflies through all stages of their lifecycle and was shown in Villinski's recent solo exhibition at Morgan Lehman Gallery in New York. Villinski's work has been widely exhibited and often covered in ArtNews, Art Forum, and other publications. Niederer Auditorium, Wetherill Visual Arts Center.
