Madonia is the author of two young adult novels, Fingerprints of You and Invisible Fault Lines. Judy Blume said that “Her writing is luminous, her voice original, and the journey she takes us on, compelling” and Kathryn Erskine praised her “beautiful prose and . . . heartfelt story.” Her short stories have appeared in literary magazines including the Greensboro Review and the New Orleans Review. She lives in Charlottesville, is a member of the University of Nebraska, Omaha low-residency M.F.A. faculty, and also teaches creative writing at the University of Virginia, James Madison University, and WriterHouse.
