Featuring Mike O?Brochta | Kiwanis Club of Roanoke
Tuesday, February 24
10:00 AM ? 11:30 AM
A relationship with a civic organization expands participants? business and social networks, and it raises awareness of opportunities to engage in meaningful civic activities. Those networks and civic activities can result in strong relationships with long-lasting benefits far beyond what is possible through traditional business networking.
Through engaging discussions and brief exercises, participants will explore how they can experience a business boost from a civic organization relationship. Participants may even have the opportunity to ask the session facilitator to tell a CIA story or two.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
List business-specific benefits of a civic organization relationship
Identify local civic organizations with potential business benefits
Discuss different types of civic organization relationships
Draft a personalized action plan
This session is ideal for:
Business owners and entrepreneurs
Sales and business development professionals
Community-minded leaders and emerging professionals
Anyone looking to grow relationships, visibility, and impact in Virginia?s Blue Ridge
10:00 ? 10:15 AM | Registration, Networking & Coffee
10:15 ? 11:30 AM | Program + Discussion
