Event Setup Crew
Job Title: Set-Up Crew for Dr Pepper Park at the Bridges
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Set-Up Crew to join our team at Dr Pepper Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment and tents used during an event. This is a part-time position, with work hours dependent on event schedules.
- Load and unload equipment, including sound systems, lighting, generators, and tents, onto and off of trucks and trailers.
- Assist with constructing stages, including assembling and connecting stage pieces, risers, and platforms.
- Set up seating areas and other event spaces according to event specifications, including arranging chairs, tables, and tents.
- Run cables and wiring, and hang banners or other decorations.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly maintained, including cleaning and organizing equipment after use and performing basic repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing protective gear, ensuring that equipment is properly secured, and following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Previous experience in event set-up or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
