Stage Hand
Job Title: Stagehand for Dr Pepper Park at the Bridges
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Stagehand to join our team at Dr Pepper Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and tearing down the stage and equipment used during concerts and events. This is a part-time position, with work hours dependent on event schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload equipment, including sound systems, lighting, instruments, and staging, onto and off of the stage.
- Assist with constructing the stage, including assembling and connecting stage pieces, risers, and platforms.
- Install lighting and sound equipment, run cables and wiring, and hang banners or other decorations.
- Help performers with their equipment and instruments, including moving equipment on and off stage, adjusting microphones or other gear, etc..
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuring that equipment is properly secured, and following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a stagehand or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
