Carol Lidgard has obtained the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation

Carol Lidgard, Associate Broker and Roanoke Sales Manager at Coldwell Banker Townside, REALTORS® has completed the curriculum required to achieve the highly acclaimed Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation. Ms. Lidgard joins other top producers in the residential real estate industry who hold the designation across the nation.

The GRI is a nationally recognized designation attained by members of the National Association of REALTORS®. The program focuses on developing and increasing participants’ professionalism and skill set in order to strengthen their value to consumers.
Ms. Lidgard earned the  GRI gesignation by attending a minimum of 60 hours of classroom instruction, covering a variety of subjects including: contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction. 
In addition, GRI designees are trained in the fundamentals of brokerage and other areas of real estate specialization. With this designation and through increased awareness of current topics important to the real estate professional, such as legal issues, these REALTORS® can better serve prospective clients and customers.

The GRI designation sets Ms. Lidgard, who is a member of the National Association of of REALTORS and Virgina Association of REALTORS, apart from other practitioners because it indicates a professional educational foundation on which to base the services they provide.
