Join the Roanoke Regional Chamber, Roanoke Regional Partnership, and the Botetourt Chamber of Commerce on April 14th from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Charter Hall in the City Market Building for Data Centers 101 presented by Google, a business-focused conversation designed to help our regional business community better understand the growing role of data centers and the opportunities they create. 

This panel discussion will explore how data centers are building long-term capacity through workforce development, supplier engagement, and intentional community partnerships.

Designed for Chamber Members, Partnership Investors, business leaders, and nonprofit organizations, the program will feature perspectives from Google, a regional peer community that has successfully welcomed a data center, Appalachian Power, and the Western Virginia Water Authority. Panelists will share insights into the infrastructure, planning, and partnerships that support data center development, while highlighting practical pathways for collaboration, talent development, and shared community initiatives.
