Join the Roanoke Regional Chamber for our first installment of the VBR Series presented by inFirst Credit Union: State of Healthcare presented by Anthem, a morning program designed to provide insight into the trends, challenges, and innovations shaping healthcare across Virginia’s Blue Ridge. 

This event will feature updates from two of the region’s leading healthcare organizations: Carilion Clinic and LewisGale Medical Center. Representing Carilion Clinic, President of Carilion Medical Center, Mike Abbott will share insights into the current healthcare landscape, highlight key initiatives and special projects, and discuss what lies ahead for the region. Additional speaker details from LewisGale Medical Center will be April Woodward, Vice President of Oncology and Steven Evans, Assistant Vice President. 

Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how regional healthcare systems are evolving, the investments being made locally, and the role healthcare plays in driving economic vitality and community well-being.
