You are formally invited to join the Roanoke Foodshed Network for a special press event celebrating the launch of the Roanoke Region Food & Farm Trail, a new regional initiative that connects residents and visitors to farms and food businesses across the Roanoke region (Roanoke City, Salem City, Roanoke County, and Franklin, Floyd, Montgomery, Craig, Botetourt, and Bedford counties) through a website, in person events, and a multimedia storytelling campaign (check out the first of our docuseries videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPuEt87P6nA). 

This event will bring together regional leaders, elected officials, economic development partners, farmers, and media to celebrate and showcase the launch of the Trail and its role in supporting economic growth, tourism, and community resilience (check out a beta-version of our website here). Plan to hear remarks from regional leaders and partners across agriculture, food business, and economic development.
