Rocco writes and illustrates picture books and novels for children as well as illustrating books for older readers. His awards include his New York Times Bestselling picture book Blackout, which received the Caldecott Honor. He is also the illustrator for Rick Riordan’s blockbuster series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Kane Chronicles, and Heroes of Olympus.
