Job Summary:

As a Household Goods Move Planner at Lawrence Companies, you will play a critical role in coordinating and planning residential moves for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each move is meticulously organized, from the initial consultation to the final delivery, providing a seamless and stress-free experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Facilitate the timely planning, scheduling, and dispatching of loads within the household goods division to meet service, cost, and timeliness objectives.

· Develop comprehensive move plans, including timelines, inventory lists, and special requirements.

· Coordinate with the operations team to schedule and assign moving crews and equipment.

· Plan and optimize routes, manage fleet maintenance, and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

· Oversee and track all aspects of the move, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

· Collaborate with management to formulate operational policies and procedures.

· Participate in planning and setting goals for quality, safety, capacity, and profitability.

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

· Monitor orders, utilize documented data, and analyze revenue projections.

 

Qualifications:

· Preferred: Previous experience in logistics or a related field.

· Capable of organizing and multitasking to manage daily responsibilities and meet deadlines.

· Strong organizational and time management abilities.

· Oversee scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

· Proficient in using scheduling and planning software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems).

· Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

· Knowledge of the moving industry and related regulations is advantageous.

· Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
