Duties of RN-DON:

  • Conduct client assessments/re-assessments to develop individualized care plans
  • Assist in managing all field staff, including scheduling, training, and supervision
  • Assist with field staff onboarding as needed
  • Conduct supervisor visits for field staff
  • Caregiver/Client introductions (warm welcome)
  • Oversee Client Care Management (Life Care Management)
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies
  • Assist with client medication setup and/or administration
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Occasional direct client care, which may include IV infusions on weekends (fill-in basis) and shift work out in the field
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation
  • Ability to travel throughout Lynchburg/Roanoke territories as needed
  • Other clinical/administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in VA
  • Previous IV insertion/infusion experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managed care or homecare settings
  • Strong background in field of geriatrics, or pediatrics
  • Ability to travel throughout Lynchburg & Roanoke territories
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing care plans
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in nursing
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
