Roanoke City Public Schools is an urban school division in Roanoke, Virginia, serving a PreK-12 student population of approximately 14,000 in 17 elementary schools, five middle schools, and two high schools, as well as alternative schools including Roanoke Valley Governor's School for Science & Technology and the Roanoke Technical Education Center.
