THe Roanoke HIgher Education Center develops partnerships and maintains a state-of-the-art facility that provides citizens fo the Roanoke region access to training, certifications, and degrees. Programs of study include undergraduate and graduate degree options, certificates, endorsements, licenses, and workforce training. Since opening in 2000, more than 13,000 degrees and certificates have been awarded. Special facilities include the Culinary Arts Labratory, Clinical Simulation Center, Library, Computer Lab, Cafe, Central Walkway Plaza, Student Success Center, and Testing Center. Classroom spaces are available for daily rental to organizations and businesses for programs with a clearly identifiable continuing education component.
