Spilman opened its Roanoke office in 2007 with the goal of improving and expanding services to clients in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region. The office is conveniently located in downtown Roanoke, providing access to courthouses, banks, meeting facilities, public agencies, hotels, restaurants and other business support services. Upon its launch, Spilman offered the market a depth of experience and talent in such areas of law practice as wealth management, banking & finance, bankruptcy & creditors' rights, consumer finance, tax law and bond/public finance. In the ensuing years, the number of attorneys in the Roanoke office (see photo gallery at right) has grown through strategic hiring that has expanded and deepened the firm's practice in the areas of labor & employment law, community banking and general litigation.
