Serving Roanoke, Lynchburg and the New River Valley!

Roanoke Location - Our visitor parking area is accessible from Centre Avenue ? one block off Shenandoah via 12th or 14th Streets. From the parking lot proceed to BRAX either through our outdoor entrance to the left or through the Safeside Retail showroom on the right.

Blacksburg Location - We're located just behind the Lyric Theater, 2 blocks from Squires. If you park in the lot in front of the building, make sure you look for the Blue Ridge Axe logo (not all spaces are ours)

Lynchburg Location - We're located inside the SafeSide Lynchburg building - park anywhere in the lot and once you enter the Main Entrance you will see Hill City Axe Throwing ahead on your left!

We were first introduced to urban axe throwing two years ago during a visit to Indianapolis. We spent an evening with family and friends at the local axe range (Bad Axe Throwing) and had a blast. On our return to Roanoke we searched for places in the region to throw axes but found nothing in Virginia west of Virginia Beach. We realized in order to throw (and to share the fun with others) we?d need to build our own range. The first plans for Blue Ridge Axe Throwing (BRAX) began to form.

We are so excited to introduce indoor axe throwing to Virginia?s Blue Ridge. We believe the sport is a perfect fit for our region?s ?work hard, play harder!? culture. Our vision is a venue where people of all backgrounds and abilities can have fun with old friends, meet lots of new friends, and have the time of their lives tossing steel.
