I am a financial advisor for individuals, families, businesses and organizations, as well as business owners and entrepreneurs that are working towards their next adventure. Whether it is a new career, new business, giving, education, or retirement, your next adventure will be life changing. To help you reach and execute your next adventure, we start by understanding what is important to you. Then, using our established process, we help you determine where you are and develop a personalized strategy to help you achieve your financial goals. We then partner with you throughout your life to help keep you on track.
In the 1990s, I remember playing the Game of Life with my sister and her husband. I spent the entire game behind and as I approached the end of the game realized that the only way to win was to gamble and bet it all on a single spin. So, I spun, and my number came up. I won, but only because I got lucky. I thought there must be a better way. I am a financial advisor because there is a better way to reach the next adventure and it does not involve spinning the wheel or luck. I keep the gameboard on my wall as a reminder that no one should have to gamble for their future.
My formal education is in business and I have advanced degrees in accounting, finance and tax. I served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. As an IRS Agent, I worked with taxpayers who had complex situations and as a professor at Liberty University, I taught business, tax and technology. I now use my education and experiences to help clients achieve their goals and dreams.
