About Us

RIDE Solutions is a commuter assistance program providing TDM services to commuters and employers in the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany region. Using the Agile Mile-based mobile and website app, RIDE Solutions offers ride-matching, transit routing support, bicycle commuting support, and vanpool matching services. The program utilizes a combination of traditional and social media, public relations strategies, community events, community outreach, and employer outreach to educate the public on available transportation options and register individuals in the Agile Mile database. As a program of the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission, RIDE Solutions also provides TDM technical assistance on planning efforts that support the growth of existing mobility options as well as the adoption of new solutions.
