Event by First Fridays at Five, Inc. in Downtown Roanoke VA! Proceeds benefit area non-profits. Tonight's non-profits include: Roanoke Center for Animal Cruelty & Protection (RCACP), Adult Care and YMCA - Gainsboro location. Brightside will entertain you with your favorite rock and alternative hits from the 80s, 90s, and today! Brightside plays classics from Pearl Jam, Sublime, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matchbox 20, Green Day, The Killers, and many other great bands! Sharing fun songs from the 90's and beyond brought 4 talented musicians (and Marshall) together in 2012 to form Brightside. Based just north of Charlotte, NC the band has become a regional favorite. Three of the founding members remain in the band. Patrick on drums, Bryan on Lead Guitar, and Marshall playing Guitar and Keys. All have enjoyed experiences with multiple groups over the last fifteen years, but consider Brightside their home. YA’LL…Marshall is from the Roanoke region! Grab your friends and head downtown to check out something new and help us welcome Marshall and the band back to the Star City with a heck of a showing! 🙌👏 Gates open at 5:00PM. Tickets are purchased at the gate. Entry is just $10. Must be 21 or older to attend. No re-entry. Food: We have delicious food for sale from Mountain Grille Food Truck. Event Parking Instructions: Please park at the Williamson Parking Deck (free after 5:00pm) or anywhere in Downtown Roanoke that is convenient. We're a quick walk from the Downtown area to Franklin Road where all events are held. Seating: Please bring your own chair, all bags are subject to search. The Good Stuff: Beer, sangria, club cocktails and hard cider and vodka seltzers available for purchase. Our featured craft brewer rotates per event. We have domestic favorites as well.
