About the Speaker

Jarrod Hines is the owner of Farmer Auctions of Salem, VA and Entrusted Auctions of Princeton and Beckley, WV. He is a respected leader in the auction and real estate industries. Jarrod is a fifth-generation auctioneer with 39 years of experience, and continues a proud family legacy built on professionalism, trust, and results.  His companies conduct nearly 100 online auctions annually.


Jarrod is licensed and bonded in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee and holds three of the industry’s most distinguished credentials: the Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) designation—earned through a three-year, master-level training program—the Certified Estate Specialist (CES) designation-and the Auction Marketing Management (AMM) designation. Jarrod currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the West Virginia Auctioneers Association and is a current Director of the Virginia Auctioneers Association.
Jarrod is a nationally respected educator, providing continuing education for the National Auction Association, multiple state associations and is a faculty member at the Nashville Auction School.


In addition to his auction leadership, Jarrod is a leading real estate professional with MKB Realtors in Roanoke, Virginia, and Altruist Realty in Beckley, West Virginia.

Jarrod enjoys as much family time as he can get with his daughter, Kendal and other members of his immediate family and friends. He is a classic car collector.  A true "auction junkie", he also enjoys attending auctions as an avid collector. Mr. Hines is also a local history enthusiast and voracious reader of local history books. He is a die-hard WVU Mountaineer fan.
